SENIOR PLANNER




: Duties: Collect, analyze and present data in written, graphic or oral forms to various boards, comissions and committees; develop and present recommendations on various development permits and applications; prepare appropriate reports; confer with engineers, developers, architects, and community groups in acquiring information and coordinating planning matters; provide information regarding city development, projects, programs and requirements.

Qualifications: Six (6) years of responsible professional urban or regional planning experience; a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, urban design, urban affairs or a related field.

PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE. “EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER”
